Mr. Milinda Moragoda, Sri Lankan Minister for Economic Reform and Science & Technology, called on External Affairs Minister Shri Yashwant Sinha on 30th November 2002 to brief him on the recently concluded Donors’ Conference in Oslo on November 25th and the forthcoming talks in Oslo on 2nd – 4th December 2002. This is part of the ongoing process of keeping Government of India informed of developments in the peace process.


EAM once again conveyed Government of India’s full support to a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Sri Lanka that meets the just aspirations of all elements of Sri Lankan society within the framework of a sovereign and united Sri Lanka.

EAM also conveyed the support of the Government of India to the reconstruction, rehabilitation and economic development of Sri Lanka.
