Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) re-established telephone facilities to Kilinochchi town with the commissioning of a temporary telephone exchange located within the Kilinochchi Post Office premises. In addition to subscriber connections, SLT will install three pay-phone booths at the post office for the convenience of the general public.
