The programme comes within the framework of development co-operation of the German Government, implemented through GTZ (German Technical Co-operation).

Under its funding of NGO-Projects Programme, the German Governmant will provide Dur. 415,000 (Rs. 39 million) to assist Internally Displaced People (IDP) where 4939 families returning to their villages in the Vanni Districts of Vavuniya, Mannar and Kilinochchi, will be beneficiaries.
