Mr. Vidar Helgessen, Deputy Foreign Minister, will on Sunday 25 July arrive in Sri Lanka. He will during his stay have meetings with President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakse, other members of the Government of Sri Lanka, representatives for the opposition as well as with civil society.

Deputy Minister Helgesen and Hans Brattskar will on Monday 26 July travel to Kilinochchi for consultations with LTTE.
