The ongoing
talks taking place between the Government of Sri Lanka
and the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (October
31- November 3, 2002) at the Rose Garden Resort, Nakorn
Pathom Province, Thailand is the second meeting
of the first round of peace talks.
It is envisaged that there will be three rounds of
negotiations/talks.
The first round: Stabilization stage
The second round: Transitional stage
The third round: Post-transitional stage
