Session 5: 07-08 February 2003, Germany


Under the auspices of the Ceasefire Agreement, the Government and the LTTE met for the fifth round of Peace Talks on 07-08 February 2003 at the Norwegian Embassy in Berlin, Germany.

The Government negotiating team consisted of the following people:
Hon. G.L. Peiris
Hon. Milinda Moragoda
Hon. Rauff Hakeem
Amb. Bernard Goonetilleke

The LTTE was represented by:
Mr. Anton Balasingham
Mr. S.P. Thamilselvan
Mr. Muralitharan (Karuna)
Mrs. Adele Balasingham

Norwegian facilitators, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Vidar Helgesen, Ambassador Jon Westbourg and Mr. Erik Solheim, also participated.
