Representatives of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) plan to visit Norway from14-17 October. The delegation will be led by Mr. Tamilselvan, leader of the political wing of the LTTE, and the members will include Mr. Karuna, the LTTE leader for eastern Sri Lanka.
In Oslo, the delegation will meet with Norwegian Foreign Minister, Mr Jan Petersen, and the Norwegian facilitators of the peace process in Sri Lanka, as well as with members of the local Tamil community.
The delegation also plans to visit the city of Bergen. The delegation will be visiting Norway after meetings in Ireland and Denmark.
