Sri Lanka go to poll tomorrow

Sri Lankan voters from the 22 electoral districts will go to poll on the 2nd of April. The Sri Lankan Parliament has 225 seats.

The election will be observed by several foreign observers. These include the Europeon Union and Japan (two of the Co-chairs of the Tokyo Donor Conference); the Commonwealth; and Nepal and Bangladesh representing the Asian Election Authority. All the foreign observers are invited by the Election Commissioner, Dayananda Dassanayake.
