A Norwegian Delegation headed by Deputy Foreign Minister, Vidar Helgesen, is due to visit Sri Lanka tomorrow (19 October).
The other members of the delegation are Special Adviser to the Norwegian Foreign Ministry, Erik Solheim, Minister Councellor, Brattskar, and Adviser Golden. Norwegian Ambassador, Jon Westborg and Second Secretary, Tomas Stangeland will join the Delegation in Sri Lanka. Two Norwegian journalists will accompany the delegation during the programme in Sri Lanka.
The delegation will travel to Hambantota on Sunday 20 October. In Hambantota they will visit the Norwegian funded projects in that area. On Tuesday 22nd the delegation will travel to Jaffna and the Wannni where they will engage in discussions with LTTE leaders.
